As a research data manager, I am in charge of the management, archiving and publication of data produced in the projects of the CRC 170 'Late Accretion onto Terrestrial Planets'. The data management team and I are working on developing the infrastructure and tools to archive and retrieve those data products. I am currently a member of several network organizations (COPDESS, RDA, NFDI4Earth) supporting FAIR and Open Data policies.
Prior to my recent work, I was the scientific coordinator of the CRC 170 and its graduate program (IRTG) managing all administrative and financial activities during the first funding period (2016-2019). Previous to this, I joined the FUB Geochemistry group to coordinate the application process of the CRC 170 proposal to the DFG (2015).
Before joining the FUB Geochemistry group, I was involved in several projects at U.S. (NOAA, Earth Tech, George-Mason University, AeroKinetics) and German (PIK, FUB) research institutions and in the private economy sector. In this work I used large data sets from observations and models to investigate feedback processes in the earth system in the area of air quality and bio-atmosphere interactions.
I graduated from the University of Mainz (Germany) with a Diploma in Physical Geography followed with a M.Sc. in Computational Science from George Mason University (Fairfax, VA, US).
